The housing market will remain open following the introduction of the latest coronavirus lockdown measures.
Housing Minister Robert Jenrick confirmed on his Twitter account that renters and homeowners will be able to move, removal firms and estate agents will be able to operate and construction work can continue.
Our team is still providing normal moving and storage services with the now-standard social distancing and protection measures. We are also doing more surveys over Facetime and WhatsApp to advise customers on how we can help them move and how much it will cost.
Del Grant, owner of Grants Removals and Storage, says: “There is more pressure because borrowers want to get their purchases before Christmas and particularly before the stamp duty holiday finishes.”
Can I send Grants a video of my property?
If customers want to take a video of their property to show us what they want to move, they can email it to us and one of our surveyors will contact them.
We will call back and ask for additional information if required and provide a quote with 24 hours. You can email us a video of your home and its contents to enquiries@grantsremovals.co.uk
