The Grants Removals and Storage team are back at work following guidance from the government regarding firms working in and delivering to people’s homes.

While some smaller removal firms have been operating during the lockdown the vast majority of removal companies have been shut, meaning many people could not move.

The shutdown has caused a huge backlog in the property market and a reported 373,000 transactions totaling £82bn have been on hold across the UK.

Del Grant, owner of Grants Removals, says: “Some of our customers managed to move before the lockdown but most of them have had to wait until the government eased the lockdown rules. We are back in the office and keen to help people move.

“The safety of our customers and staff is my main priority and I have introduced plans to ensure we can move customers as safely and efficiently as possible. Our staff have personal protection equipment and they fully understand the importance of social distancing. When we have to speak with customers we will try to do this outside and homes should be well ventilated when our removal team arrives.”

If you would like a quote to find out how much it will cost to move our specialist surveyors do not have to visit your property. They are happy to use Facetime or any other video discussion tools to assess your property and to confirm how much it will cost to move your items into our storage facilities or onto your new property. You can also send us pictures or as always speak to us over the phone.
