Grants Removals and Storage Ltd is offering customers the option of a traditional home suvery or a video survey.
Our surveyors can provide an accurate price without visiting your property by conducting a Facetime or WhatsApp virtual meeting to ensure we understand exactly what needs to be moved.
Since lockdown we seem to be arranging more last-minute moves for people across Greater London and Surrey, often when they exchange with short notice and are looking for to a trusted removal firm to help them.
Del Grant, the owner of Grants Removals, says: “Our team has been visiting customers at their homes for the last 20 years and often at very shorty notice, but since the coronavirus hit we have been speaking to more customers via video conferencing typically through Facetime or Whatsapp.
“To work out how much it will cost to move home we will need to know the size of your property and whether it is a house or a flat. We will need to understand how easy it is to access the property and exactly how far away we can park our lorries. We will also need to know whether you want to use our packing services or would us to supply boxes, we will also require a pretty detailed list of your home contents”
Can I send Grants a video of my property?
If customers want to take a video of their property to show us what they want to move, they can email it to us and one of the surveyors will contact them.
They will call back and ask for additional information if required and provide a quote with 24 hours. You can email us a video of your home and its contents to email@example.com
How are Grants managing the social distancing rules?
Lots of our customers have been worried about social distancing and they have been asking what procedures we have in place.
Our removal teams have been issued with personal protective equipment and they are keeping their distance from customers.
We are explaining to movers that it is important to open the windows in their property and wherever possible only one adult on-site while we pack up and load our lorries.
