Grants moved hundreds of books from the 500-year-old West Horsley Place to the University of Cambridge’s Trinity College.
Bamber Gascoigne, the original quizmaster from University Challenge, inherited the 50-room West Horsley House in Surrey and has sold some of its jewels, paintings, books and furniture to pay for some much-needed repairs.
Del Grant, owner of Grants Removals, says: “Some of the books were hundreds of years old and they had to be handled and transported with care.
“Our team moved the books over two days with the minimum amount of fuss. We delivered them directly to Trinity College ready to be sorted and placed into the Library.”
Mr Gascoigne spoke to The Telegraph earlier this year and you see can the books behind him in the main image. Click here to view the full story.
